Escape Rooms in Basildon
There are some escape rooms in Basildon - customers tell me about them - and I keep meaning to go and play them - and I haven’t yet!
Escape Basildon is the place to go. They’ve got three escape rooms as of writing this. A Batman themed escape room called ‘Riddle me this’ has players solving puzzles placed by the infamous Riddler. Then there’s the one customers keep telling me I must play - a horror escape room - ‘Phasmophobia’, which tells the story of a haunted house where a local YouTube star has gone missing! Finally, there is ‘The Brig’ a pirate themed escape room. Your ship’s captain has been possessed and you need to help before you are set to walk the plank. The Basildon escape rooms allow bigger groups than most including escape rooms for 8 people. There is a jump scare and flashing light warning in place for the horror escape room Phasmophobia. I haven’t yet played it (but I really want to!)* so I can’t say how scary it is.
*Lauren wrote this. I’ve no interest in horror escape rooms at all. I can’t even understand how people find the creepy and jumpy stuff fun!
As I hope is obvious from the above, I opened the only Virtual Reality Escape Rooms near Basildon not just because I’m a VR fan, but also because I’m a big fan of escape rooms! I’m very fortunate to have such great escape rooms near me. With my business hat on, the escape rooms in Basildon remind me that with VR I’m fortunate that I don’t need to tear an escape room out in order to add a new escape game to the venue.
