Escape Rooms in Colchester

Getting a bit further afield now, with VR Escape about 50 minutes from Colchester.

It won’t be long before I’ve exhausted my options with escape rooms near me. Colchester makes a nice day out. Although there aren’t many companies running escape rooms in Colchester, there is still a selection of good escape rooms to choose from.

For starters there are the eight Escape Colchester escape games. These are part of the same group as Escape Basildon and Escape Chelmsford, but at the time of writing those two don’t have the same as the Colchester escape games. There’s something themed for everyone here. Witchcraft and Wizardry, 221B, The Cabin, 8 Years Later… Will take a while to get through them all! (These also seem to advertise as World of Escapes)

Next there’s Doomsday Games offering 90 minute escape room games rather than the more common 60 minutes. Pathogen is a battle with a world ending virus and Critical Mass is about a nuclear meltdown. They’re called Doomsday Games for a reason! I’m really looking forward to trying the 90 minute format.

Details are sketchy on the next one… The Serpent’s Curse, an escape room at Colchester Castle! That’s all I can tell you. Sounds like something I’d like to do. Worth looking into if you’re on the lookout for a Colchester escape room with a difference.

As I hope is obvious from the above, I opened the only Virtual Reality Escape Rooms near Billericay not just because I’m a VR fan, but also because I’m a big fan of escape rooms! I’m very fortunate to have such great escape rooms near me. With my business hat on, the escape rooms in Billericay reminded me that with VR I’m fortunate that I don’t need to tear an escape room out in order to add a new escape game to the venue. If like me you’ve played almost all of the physical escape rooms nearby, come and give one of our Virtual Reality escape rooms a go. We’ve got several now and we’re adding at least one new one a year. We’ll keep you busy! You can take a look at our escape rooms here
